2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4

Introduced at Geneva in 2003, the Gallardo was intended to complement the 12-cylinder Murciélago in Lamborghini’s model line. Far from “entry level”, however, the Gallardo was and continues to be a 10-cylinder, fire-breathing supercar that not only offers world-class performance but all the refinement and technology that Audio ownership has afforded the sports car manufacturer from Sant’Agata Bolognese.

The LP 560-4 is the latest evolution of the Gallardo and marks a tremendous improvement over its predecessor in virtually every mechanical and cosmetic sense. With 552 brake horsepower (32 more than its predecessor), an increase in displacement to 5.2 liters and an endless list of performance upgrades, the LP 560-4 has picked up the torch from the limited edition Gallardo Superleggera. The styling has evolved as well. Although the design is an inherently similar, it has developed to incorporate a re-styled rear end, a Reventon-type nose and such eye-catching features as head- and taillights in a Y-pattern. As before, there’s an extensive options list to ensure complete personalization for each client.

552 bhp, 5.2-liter dual overhead camshaft mid-rear mounted V10 engine with four valves per cylinder, E-Gear six-speed sequential manual gearbox, four-wheel independent suspension, four-wheel carbon ceramic brakes. Wheelbase: 100.8".
